Quality Guaranteed

SK5 high carbon steel is good, but it needs to be heat treated and sharp enough for the task. Our replacement blade is heat treated to the correct 55 to 65 HRC. The blade should not be too sharp, however. Too thin an edge and the blade will wear out quickly. The dual bevel edge has been sharpened with edge retention in mind, extending blade life.

Versatile

Our replacement cutting blade is designed to handle the thickest solid copper Ethernet but will handle other types of low voltage cable, too. Series 6 Quad Shield coaxial cable is no match for this blade! Keep in mind that this blade is not designed for steel center conductors, however.

Easy to Use

Blade replacement on the trueCABLE AIO RJ45 Crimp and Termination Tool is easy with a simple single screw replacement. Unscrew the old blade and replace it with this new one. The blade is identical on both sides, so accidental reversal is not possible. Prone to losing small screws? No problem, as we supply an extra screw just for that eventuality. Lose the replacement screw too? The screw size is M3*6MM.
